The Rio Olympics is just around the corner and in anticipation of 2 glorious weeks of watching all the amazing athletes from around the world, we wanted to introduce you to another amazing athlete who is using these Olympics as a source of inspiration to re-build her fitness and health, after suffering and recovering from a major illness. Her name, Freya Rodger and her sport is the Freyathlon.
There are 41 women’s sports in the Rio Olympics with a total of over 100+ individual and team events combined and Freya is participating in each one of these sports before the Rio Olympic closing ceremonies. 41 sports = a Freyathlon.
We sat down and had a chat with Freya, she tells us how it all began, how she has approached completing all 41 sports and her best advice for other plus size women looking to unleash their inner athlete.
Enjoy the show.
